Couldn't you fabricate this with Google's Website Optimizer? I've haven't used it, but I thought it works with any chunk of code on the site with A/B testing. What it may not do is automate the degradation of the least popular headlines.

This is one of those "flip it" propositions: don't spend the money to build databases, spend relational capital to partner with organizations who have already built databases: nonprofit fundraising events (people drink heavily at golf tournaments)...

I'm the owner of a tech/creative/startup community venue in Lexington, KY called Awesome Inc. We've hosted SW a few months ago here and now we're having a Mobile miniConference on July 18th. There will be speakers from the original facebook mobile, Yahoo!, and speakers on Google Android, Palm Pre, the iPhone. We'll even have a workshop that will walk you through how to build your first iPhone app. We'll also have talks on how mobile will be shaping individual businesses and entire industries.
Just wanted to let you know since you're obviously into the entrepreneurship scene, and you're not that far away from Lex (and this is the only mobile conference (that I've heard of) in the midwest). Also, what ways do you think would be best to get the word out about this in Nashville? Any advice on where to post this info or let people know?

Leveraging Connections
I'd be interested to hear ideas regarding how we might continue to build and leverage this new community to help our businesses (and just because it's fun). I'm certain there's a member in the group who's a perfect buyer for my company's services but I'm not sure how I'd know that right now. Any ideas on how to help promote each other?
