Awesome Inc. - A coworking space + art studio + technology lab is hosting a mobile conference complete with speakers, booths, and an app pitch contest. They've got the former product manager for the original facebook mobile speaking, as well as a Yahoo! Blueprint presentation, and speakers on Google Android, Palm Pre, and of course the iPhone. There'll be a Mac lab on site and a workshop that will walk you through building your own iPhone app from scratch.

Hey Andrew,

Thanks for letting me know about the iPhone Camp...and it turns out you are right. One of our speakers Brenan Lim, who is the director of mobile at intridea is one of our keynote speakers and he's flying from Atlanta on that day....I checked the site and saw that intridea is actually sponsoring the event...so I don't know why he never told me about it or why he confirmed to attend our conference instead of sticking around his backyard (not that I'm complaining, or dissing our event). Hmmmm....

As far as letting everyone know on NSW, I didn't think it would interfere with the user experience (i.e. be annoying to see it on everyone's wall as they browsed profiles). I apologize if it did. I'm also not aware of rules/protocol in this regard...but I know better now I guess. Thanks for letting me know.

So July 18th, eh? Same exact day as iPhone Camp Atlanta. http://www.iphonecampatlanta.org/ Drag that no one caught the overlap; I'm sure a lot of speakers from outside your towns are having to make a tough decision on which one to attend.

P.S. You put the same comment on nearly every NSW Ning member's profile page. That's sort of a spammer technique, so it puts a question mark on the event you're trying to promote.
