Hey Everyone!

I'm interested if anyone has any ideas ready to pitch? Last year, I tossed out the idea for Assassins (now known as gpsAssassin) via the Blog/Forum - so now I'm hoping others will do the same :)

After experiencing last year's event, I now realize that you don't have to actually launch a prototype to be a success at the event - in fact, I really liked BarBoodle's approach (a team from last year) to create a business plan. They really thought through a LOT of aspects that many other groups never even considered.

So, if you have an idea for a business that's not technical or can't be built in one weekend - NO WORRIES! In fact, a few of my ideas for this year aren't even technical :)

If, like me, you are a fantasy sports junkie, and you have teams on lots of different sites, wouldn't it be nice to have one unified interface where you could manage all your teams? Call it Fantasynch or something like that. You could also, in the process, provide a better interface since all of them have weaknesses, and I think the best part would be a single page dashboard that allows you to view all of your games, in real time, with no scrolling. I would happily pay for that. Of course the big technical obstacle is whether there are APIs into the existing fantasy sites. The dashboard might be phase I, since scraping your current lineup off of the sites might be an easier technical obstacle.

A market opportunity kiosk at kinkos. The kiosk would be loaded with all of the census data and some private data. It would allow you to pick an industry and a complete report on that industry would be printed and available to you in a few minutes. It would include color maps of US and the local market area you select. Of course, there is an online play here as well.
